Hi thanks for the guide!

Windows XP starts no problem.

BUT I cannot get rid of the message: ‘USB repair Not start Microsoft Windows XP’

I can’t find the boot.ini file in the root cd:\ which you mention in order to get rid of the USB option.

Any ideas?

I just wanted to let you know that this worked like a charm on my Samsung NC10. I was looking for a way to get it back onto it sans the recovery partition so I could dualboot with Arch Linux, and this worked! I’ve made a backup iso of what resulted, just in case something screws up. Thanks a lot for this guide.
